Description
Scouts will complete their Archaeology merit badge through activities and work that they complete before arriving at the Iron Hill Science Center. A professional archeologist will be present to talk about the work archaeologists do.

Current members of the Boy Scouts of America.Registration limited to 12 scouts.

Preparation
Scouts should bring blue card signed by their scoutmaster.
Scouts should bring a printed copy of the Archaeology Workbook - January 2021 edition.
Prerequiste: #7a or #7b.

ArrivalPlan to arrive 10 minutes early, late arrivals disrupt the workshop.
AttireIndoors and Outdoors. Wear casual clothes that are suitable for hiking. Also, water bottles and snacks are permitted. Insect repellant if desired.

Parents are welcome; however, because of limited Archaeology space, other children cannot be accommodated.
WeatherWill be held rain or shine.
